Il semble que le président ait eu le temps de préparer sa réponse : d'après Europe 1, l'Elysée était au courant depuis plusieurs jours de l'imminence de la publication de ces photos. Selon la radio, rien n'a été fait pour l'empêcher. Le secret de la publication des photos avait pourtant été bien gardé par le magazine.
